Fairmont Stairs Pty Ltd was established in 1997 and family owned boutique business with the Director Andrew having already had many years experience prior to starting out on his own. His aim was to build quality stairs at an affordable price and to this day Andrew continues to do just that!

In 1998 he met his now wife Julie who also happened to be completing her apprenticeship in Carpentry and Joinery. After working overtime for three years she finally demanded a ring and they have been working together as a team ever since. Two children later and she still doesn’t get paid for overtime!

Dealing with a small family owned business certainly has its advantages, you wont get lost in our system that’s for sure. Whilst Andrew tends to measure and install the staircases, Julie prefers to quote and manufacture. Both are fully qualified trades people with Julie also being a registered building practitioner.

The majority of our clients are builders, however we also love working one on one with owner builders and understand this is a major if not the biggest feature of your new or existing home.
